Gift Of A Pleasant Day

Gift Of A Pleasant Day

Woman with a giftGood morning Lord what a thankful day this is. Even though it’s raining and cloudy gray outside, today is such a blessing. To have woken up is a pleasant day and a gift all the same. Thank you oh Lord that You have kept me. Throughout the night You watched over me and my family. You protected us from the unseen dangers and the hand of the enemy. In all of the busy and fussiness of the day, I fell asleep without remembering to thank you . I had not planned to sleep as I did but with this slight cold and the medicine I’d taken I did. Yet You saw fit to love me and grant me a new day full of mercy and grace. For that I thank you.

Lord it is my desire that today You would hear me when I call out Your name. That you would search my heart and that none ill would be found but that of love, thankfulness, gratitude, humility, and meekness. Let there be an eagerness that quickens my spirit to be obedient to Your will. Let Your righteousness flood my very being and forgive me when I have unintentionally sinned against You and/or Your people. Let loving word of kindness flow from my lips as I speak. And if any evil shall brace my tongue shut my mouth that is not be spoken. You said that in my tongue lies the power of life and death. So let life be spoken to that which is at deaths door, depressed souls be revived, and crushed spirits be lifted up. But let death fall over the evil and vile spirits that bring torment, anguish, heartache and pain. Sent them back to the pits of hell and shut the doors that they have entered though that they shall not return.

Lord I commend You for Your saving grace and embrace You for the power which You have given me over the enemy which comes to kill, steal and destroy. Lord heighten my awareness and sharpen my discernment that I am equipped, dressed and prepared for the enemy that fights against me. For I wrestle not against flesh and blood but against evil spirits, principalities and powers in high places.

Psalm 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Psalm 17:6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Proverbs 18:21 Amplified Bible
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
